The Master's programme in Literature, Language and Culture offers a multidisciplinary approach and covers a wide range of academic fields within English studies such as literature, the arts, politics, sociology, history, cultural history, the history of ideas, translation studies or linguistics. The program is taught almost entirely in English, by a team of internationally renowned researchers.
The master’s programme provides high-level training for young researchers and specialists in the four fields of English studies (arts and literature, civilization and history, translation and translation studies, linguistics). The program trains its students in both theoretical and applied research, preparing them for different career paths (such as research, teaching, translation, administration or arts and culture careers).
Teaching:
All classes are taught face-to-face on the Campus Nation. The course is almost entirely taught in English.
The program’s partnership with the Gender Studies Master’s program at Université Paris I-Panthéon-Sorbonne offers students the possibility to specialize on questions relating to gender.
The partnership with the Master’s Degree in Early Modern Studies at Université Paris Cité offers students the possibility to develop specific expertise in the early-modern period with a particularly rich course offering on the period.
