Speakers at the book launch:

- Pauline Schnapper, director of CREW, will open the session.
- Editors Emmanuelle Avril, Laurence Cossu-Beaumont, David Fée and Fabrice Mourlon will briefly remind of the process that led from conference to book.
- Four contributors will share their understanding of "Fragmented Powers" in their chapter.

Mark Wickham Jones (University of Bristol) "Second thoughts American Attitudes to the Westminster Model and to Political Fragmentation"

Amélie Ribieiras (University Paris 2 Panthéon Assas) "The Equal Rights Amendment and Conservative Women's Activism against the Federal Government in the 1970s and 80s"

Clémence Lévêque (Sorbonne Nouvelle) "Fragmented Campaign Assemblages: Stratarchy and Multi-Level Cooperation in the Liberal Democrat 2021 Greater London Authority Election Campaign"

Philip Golub (American University of Paris) "The Past as Prelude: Ethnonationalism, War and the Second Breakdown of Global Liberalism"

- Editors Emmanuelle Avril, Laurence Cossu-Beaumont, David Fée and Fabrice Mourlon will conclude and lead discussion with attendees.

We hope other contributors and attendees will have questions or comments to continue the exchanges after these informal presentations. And perhaps "fragmented powers" will inspire fresh remarks in the light of the recent 2025 upheavals in politics and world order.
