Our Staff Weeks

The Erasmus+ programme offers higher education administrative staff the opportunity to train internationally. Within this framework, the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle organises specialised Staff Weeks every year, bringing together participants from all over Europe.

Focusing on a theme or language, they offer workshops led by specialist professionals and cultural activities open to all. This is a special opportunity to exchange with your counterparts, to reflect together on our professions and their perspectives and to discover new practices.

French Language Staff Week - June 2026

Building on three previous sessions, the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle is organising a Staff Week specialising in French as a Foreign Language in June 2025.
This is a five-day intensive training course for university staff (teaching and non-teaching).

The training is adapted to three levels:

- Absolute beginner
- Beginner/Intermediate (B1 level recommended)
- Intermediate/Advanced (B2 level recommended)

Voulue immersive, la formation offre également la possibilité de visiter la capitale parisienne et ses sites emblématiques (sorties optionnelles : Musée du Louvre, de l'Opéra Garnier, visite à pied du Quartier Latin, Petit Palais, Musée d'Orsay). Intended to be immersive, the course also offers the opportunity of visiting the Parisian capital and its emblematic sites (optional outings: the Louvre Museum, the Garnier Opera, a walking tour of the Latin Quarter, the Petit Palais, the Orsay Museum).

Staff Week "International Mobility" - April 2026

University Sorbonne Nouvelle invites you to take part in a week of seminars on the theme of "The Future of International Mobility: opportunities and challenges".

The International Affairs team will be hosting 5 conferences in english over the course of the week, followed by exchanges of experience and joint reflection on international issues.

Cultural outings are also planned to introduce our European colleagues to the Parisian environment.

Libraries Staff Week - June 2026

Sorbonne Nouvelle University invites European university library professionals to participate in a dynamic Staff Week led by our library teams, combining exchanges of best practices and cultural discoveries.

This is an opportunity to visit iconic libraries in Paris, combining historic buildings and modernity, such as the Bibliothèque Mazarine and the Bibliothèque nationale de France, as well as other places steeped in history and culture, such as the Palace of Versailles and the Musée d'Orsay. This week is a unique opportunity to share your expertise, develop networks, and be inspired by innovative practices in a stimulating environment.
