International Degrees
Sorbonne Nouvelle University implements a dynamic international policy by strengthening existing partnerships with foreign universities and developing new collaborations. Sorbonne Nouvelle University currently offers 14 International Degrees.
These degrees, at undergraduate levels and graduate levels, alternate periods of study in France and abroad. At the end of these degrees, students are awarded either a double degree (the degree of the partner university and that of Sorbonne Nouvelle University) or a joint degree (a single degree awarded, validated by the partner university/ies.

- International Master in Audiovisual and Cinema Studies(IMACS), joint degree in partnership with: Birkbeck College – London, Goethe Universität – Frankfurt, Ruhr Universität – Bochum, Universidad Pompeu Fabra – Barcelona, Università Cattolica del Sacor Cuore – Milan, Università degli Studi – Udine, Università degli Studi – Rome, University Charles de Gaulle Lille 3, University of Liège, University of Montréal, University Paris Ouest Nanterre la Défense, Universiteit van Amsterdam, Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, Stockholms Universitet, University of St Andrews.
- Master Geopolitics of Arts, double degree in partnership with: National University of Arts of Buenos Aires.
UFR Literature, Linguistic, Didactics Faculty (LLD)
- Master in Teaching of French as Foreign Language (DFLE), double degree in partnership with: Shanghai International Studies University – SISU.
- European Master in French and Francophone Studies (Master EEFF), joint degree in partnership with: Università Ca'Foscari – Venise, Humboldt Universität – Berlin, University of Lausanne, University of Leuven, Universidad Autonoma of Madrid (UNAM).
Languages, Literature, Culture and Foreign Societies Faculty (LLCSE)
- Licence/Bachelor’s Degree in French-German Intercultural Studies, double degree in partnership with: Freie Universität Berlin.
- Bachelor's Degree in French-German Teaching, double degree in partnership with: University of Kaiserslautern – Landau.
- Master MEEF in German and German secondary-school teaching diploma, double degree in partnership with: University of Kaiserslautern – Landau.
- French-German Master in Transnational Journalism, double degree in partnership with: Johannes Gutenberg University – Mainz.
- Master Multimodality-Discourse-Media (MuDiM), double degree in partnership with: Viadrina European University – Frankfurt (Oder).
- Master Italy - Literature, Culture and Traditions: Italy Literature Language and Society (ILLS), double degree in partnership with : University of Siena.
Institute of Advanced Studies of Latin America (IHEAL)
- Master in Social Sciences, Cooperation and Development in Latin America, double degree in partnership with: Externado University - Colombia.
- Master LAGLOBE - Latin America and Europe in a Global World, joint degree in partnership with: University of Salamanca, University of Stockholm.
Delocalized degrees
As part of its international outreach, Sorbonne Nouvelle University offers several delocalized programs taught at its partner institution, the French University in Egypt.
These programs are designed and supervised by our teaching teams in close collaboration with the partner institution. The courses follow the same academic standards and quality requirements as those taught in France.
Enrolled students obtain the French national degree from Sorbonne Nouvelle, which is identical to the one awarded in France.
- Bachelor's degree in Applies Foreign Languages - International Business and Trade, Specialized Translation, delocalized degree in partnership with: French Unviersity of Egypt.
- Master's degree in European and International Studies - Environment, Humanitarian Aid, Development and Fundamental Rights: Middle East, delocalized degree in partnership with: French University of Egypt.
