Transport and accommodation

The conference will take place at Campus Nation, 8 avenue de Saint-Mandé in Paris. There are many possible accommodation sites around the university, including traditional hotels, rentals, but also hostels (The People Paris Nation, one block away  from the conference site, and Joe&Joe Paris Nation) if you are looking for a more affordable option.

The closest metro stations are Nation and Picpus. The nearest public transport lines are RER A, Metro 1, 2 and 6. Do not hesitate to also look for accommodation close to other stations on these lines, especially going East on RER A or Metro line 1, even if it is not inner Paris anymore. Finally, the campus of Cité Universitaire de Paris usually have affordable rooms. Each participating country has its own “house” where rooms might be available for students and researchers of their corresponding nationality: https://www.ciup.fr/en/buildings-list/

There are several airports around Paris: we recommend arriving through Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Paris Orly (ORY).

It will be possible for participants in need of financial support to apply for travel grants.

Registration

Registration for the conference is now open. It is accessible on the platform SciencesConf, which was already used for the submission of papers. Payment will be made through PayPal (where you can also pay by credit/debit card), after filling the form. You can access it here:  https://iaspm-paris2025.sciencesconf.org/registration?lang=en

 An email receipt from PayPal will confirm your payment was received. It may take a few days for the payment to appear as confirmed on the SciencesConf platform, so do not worry if this is the case, and do not send another payment.

The registration fee for salaried academics is 200€, and 100€ for unwaged academics and students.

All participants of panels and roundtables will need to create their own SciencesConf account in order to register.

Logement et transport

La conférence aura lieu sur le Campus Nation, au 8 avenue de Saint-Mandé à Paris. Il y a de nombreuses options pour se loger autour de l’université, avec des hôtels classiques, des locations, mais aussi des auberges de jeunesse (The People Paris Nation, à deux pas du site de la conférence, et Joe&Joe Paris Nation) si vous cherchez une option plus abordable.
Le campus se trouve à côté des stations Nation et Picpus. Les lignes de transport en commun les plus proches sont le RER A, et les lignes de metro 1, 2 et 6. N’hésitez pas à chercher des possibilités de logement le long de ces lignes, en particulier vers l’Est sur le RER A et la ligne de métro 1, même si ce n’est plus dans Paris intra muros : Carte du réseau de transports en commun parisien

Enfin, on peut généralement trouver des chambres abordables sur le campus de la Cité
Universitaire de Paris. Chaque pays partenaire y a sa propre « maison » où des chambres peuvent être disponibles pour ses ressortissant•e•s : https://www.ciup.fr/maisons-liste/

Les participant•e•s ayant besoin de soutien financier pourront candidater à des bourses. Plus d’informations seront fournies dès que possible.


Inscription

Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer que les inscriptions pour la biennale IASPM « Enregistrer les musiques populaires » (7-11 juillet, Paris) sont désormais ouvertes. Elles se feront via la plateforme SciencesConf, et le paiement passera par PayPal (où vous pourrez également payer par carte bleue), après avoir rempli le formulaire. La réception de votre paiement vous sera confirmée par un mail de PayPal. Le paiement pourra mettre quelques jours à apparaître comme validé sur SciencesConf, ne vous inquiétez donc pas si c'est le cas, et ne renouvelez pas votre paiement.

Les frais d’inscription pour les chercheur·euse·s salarié·e·s sont de 200€, et ceux pour les étudiant·e·s et chercheur·euse·s sans salaire sont de 100€.

Tou·te·s les participant·e·s des panels et tables rondes devront créer leur compte SciencesConf pour pouvoir s’inscrire.
