Ce séminaire se propose d’aborder certains textes fondamentaux de la théorie critique et des nouveaux champs théoriques qui se sont dessinés depuis la fin du 20e siècle : études culturelles, études postcoloniales et décoloniales, études de genre et « queer studies », écocritique et nouveau matérialisme, etc. Chaque séance sera consacrée à un texte théorique qui sera mis en contexte et dont on fera une lecture attentive. Les cours seront en anglais ou en français, en fonction des textes.
